Lan DaoSheng

Hello everyone,

my name is DaoSheng. DaoSheng means “born on an island”.

An island is a place where you’re liable to find peace and quiet. Peace and quiet often generate inspiration. Inspiration opens the door to beauty.

My surname is Lan. Lan means “blue”. The colour blue surrounds the islands: it’s the sea. It also covers them: then it’s the sky.

I hope my music will bring you inspiration. Easing the suffering of other sentient beings is the greatest form of inspiration. Avalokiteshvara, the magnificent Guan Yin, hears the sounds of the world: the power of compassion is the core of pure perception. Guan Yin is the inspiration behind every noble act. Is also the inspiration behind my music.
